As this newly built property was built on a steep slope, the design required a number of terraces to be built. The clients brief also included an outdoor dining area near to the kitchen, easy to maintain planting, and a large lawn area at the bottom of the garden.

With such a steep site, there were a lot of obstacles to be overcome for the landscape design, as there were for the construction of the house itself. However the spectacular views over the town and ocean made up for these challenges.
