A Stone Art is currently serving clients in Cork city, West Cork and Dublin city. If you live

outside of these areas, please feel free to contact us with your enquiry as we do

make exceptions in certain cases.

A Yes Besides having over 10 years experience working in the industry, Sunny also holds a Diploma in Landscape Design as well as a Degree in Fine Art & Sculpture

Q What is the National Guild of Master Craftsmen ?

A The National Guild of Master Craftsmen is the largest organisation representing skilled tradesmen.

Its aims are to protect the skills and integrity of its members and clearly define the skilled from the non-skilled.

 

Design

 

Q I need help designing my garden - where do I start?

A A garden design consultation is a good starting point because our advice can

confirm the merits of your own approach or point out possible pitfalls, while

you save the garden design fee for your landscaping project.

 

Q I want to build my own garden, but don’t know where to start?

A Stone Art provides ‘Design Only’ packages for people wishing to build their

own garden. We provide you with detailed plans and drawings as well as any

guidance you may need. We can also be employed at a later stage to carry out

any structural work or any areas of your garden you may require help with.

Q How much will I be involved in the design process?

A You can be involved as little or as much as you want. We would generally have

an initial meeting with you to evaluate your needs and wishes for the garden.

Some clients have very specific ideas of how they want to proceed, while others

are comfortable to leave the whole project in the hands of a designer and this is

taken into account at an early stage.

 

Q How much does it cost?

A The cost of a set of 3D Designs varies, according to the scale of the project.

Prices start at around €300 up to €500 ex VAT.

Q How much would it cost to build the garden after the initial design stage?

A This really depends on what you want to include in the design. Some gardens

can be done very economically, however it usually pays off to invest a little

more during the initial stages. Getting good quality materials can save you

money in the long run, while using semi-mature plants gives the garden an

immediate ‘finished’ look, rather than having to wait several years to enjoy it.

 

Q Is it possible to spread out the cost of the project?

A In some cases where the project is large scale, Stone Art can split the build

up into stages over a period, giving you the client the opportunity to split up the

overall cost of the build and not have to worry about scaling down in order to

stick to your current budget.

 

Q Can I hire Stone Art to carry out specific stand-alone projects in my garden?

A Yes, we are available for any single component of your overall landscaping

project, for example patios, decking, planting, lawns, stone walls and

Q During what hours are you available to meet customers?
A We are available to meet clients during daytime and evening hours. Weekend

appointments are available upon request.

 

Q Do you provide garden maintenance?

A No, we currently do not provide garden maintenance services.

 

Q Do you provide any after sales service?

A We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction, and we are only too happy to help

all of our clients (past and present) with any of their garden related queries or

requests.

 

 

Cleanup

 

Q Do you remove rubbish arising from project?

A Yes, all rubbish directly related to the project will be removed.

 

Q Is cost of rubbish removal included in the quotation?

A Yes, as per agreement.
